Yesterday, Team Hitlery announced she would suspend her campaign and endorse Sen. Unicorn Friday. Then that changed to Saturday, probably because Friday is an Aryan holiday.

The likely Democratic nominee said he won't be hurried into a decision on whether to make her his running mate.
Clinton, in an e-mail to supporters, said she "will be speaking on Saturday about how together we can rally the party behind Senator Obama. The stakes are too high and the task before us too important to do otherwise."

Famous Civil War Hero Endorses Hopey

The Charleston Gazette reports an endorsement deep with symbolism: West Virginia Senator Robert Byrd is endorsing Barack Obama.

"Barack Obama is a noble-hearted patriot and humble Christian, and he has my full faith and support," Byrd says.

He said he has "no intention of involving myself in the Democratic campaign for President in the midst of West Virginia's primary election. But the stakes this November could not be higher."

Byrd, 91, a master of Senate rules and Iraq war foe, has spent much of his political career repenting the racism of his youth. He's acknolwedged having joined the Ku Klux Klan in 1942, and campaigned against civil rights legislation in the 1960s.

Hooray! Sen. Thundercunt picked up another endorsement today from North Carolina Gov. Mike Easley. Let's see what he has to say:

Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Hillary Clinton received the endorsement of North Carolina Gov. Mike Easley Tuesday morning in Raleigh, NC. After touring a bio-manufacturing training center, Gov. Easley, First Lady of North Carolina Mary Easley and Clinton held a ceremony at NC State University. The Governor formally expressed his support saying that there was "nothing I love more than a strong powerful woman." Easley concluded his remarks saying Clinton -- "makes Rocky Balboa look like a pansy".

Yesterday, we reported a story describing Bubba yelling at a room full of superdelegates about Bill Richardson being a Judas. Today, there are a few more details...atleast from the Clinton perspective:

While lobbying for his endorsement, Hillary Rodham Clinton flatly told New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson that Barack Obama could not win the presidency if he got the Democratic nomination.

"He cannot win, Bill. He cannot win," she said, according to a report by ABC News.

Despite her appeal, Richardson ultimately endorsed Obama - which sent Bill Clinton into a purple rage last weekend during a private meeting with California superdelegates.

"Five times to my face [Richardson] said that he would never do that," the former president thundered.

Funny thing.....Mexico Bill didn't promise Clinton, Inc. jack shit:

"I never did," Richardson told CNN. "I never saw [President Clinton] five times. I saw him when he watched the Super Bowl with me. We made it very clear to him that he shouldn't expect an endorsement after that meeting."

...In the interview Wednesday, Richardson acknowledged he was "very close to endorsing" Clinton, but decided not to after the campaign got "nasty."

"I held back. I waited. I felt the campaign got nasty. I heard Senator Obama; he would talk to me continuously," Richardson said.

"The Clintons should get over this," he added.

America's hottest traitor has endorsed St. Barack of Obama:

Fonda was eating out last night and exited the restaurant, ignoring as celebrities often do the assembled press contingent.

But a video camera was rolling as she approached the street and someone, perhaps just trying to get her to turn around for a picture, shouted out at her back, "Who are you going to vote for?"

There was a moment of silence. Then, the actress did turn around toward the cameras, paused and with a smile said simply, "Obama!" Then she got into a car and drove away.

Barbarella will now tour with Obama seated in a mounted gun turret atop the campaign bus just in case they pass the Straight Talk Express.

Obama Picks Up Another Valuable Endorsement

50 Cent was a Hillary supporter. Now he's a Barry supporter:

*During a recent interview with MTV at his Connecticut mansion, 50 Cent told reporters that he has switched from supporting Hillary Clinton for president to backing Barack Obama after hearing his speech on race.

"I heard Obama speak," said the rapper. "He hit me with that he-just-got-done-watching-'Malcolm X,' and I swear to God, I'm like, 'Yo, Obama!' "He threw his fist in the air. "I'm Obama to the end now, baby!"

But hold on, 50 also admitted that he's become bored with the overall race for the White House.

"To be honest, I haven't been following that anymore. I lost my interest," he said. "I listened to some of the debate and things that they were saying, and I just got lost in everything that was going on. ... Don't look for my vote, for me to determine nothing on that. Just say, '50 Cent, he don't know, so don't ask Fiddy.'

"I just think there's people that might not be ready for an African-American president," he continued. "It'll be an issue, believe it or not."

Hillary countered that she still has the support of MC Ren, because she still just doesn't get it.

Why Millboy Won't Endorse

Besides the fact the he's busy brushing his pretty hair or blowing dudes.

According to a Democratic strategist unaligned with any campaign but with knowledge of the situation gleaned from all three camps, the answer is simple: Obama blew it. Speaking to Edwards on the day he exited the race, Obama came across as glib and aloof. His response to Edwards’s imprecations that he make poverty a central part of his agenda was shallow, perfunctory, pat. Clinton, by contrast, engaged Edwards in a lengthy policy discussion. Her affect was solicitous and respectful. When Clinton met Edwards face-to-face in North Carolina ten days later, her approach continued to impress; she even made headway with Elizabeth. Whereas in his Edwards sit-down, Obama dug himself in deeper, getting into a fight with Elizabeth about health care, insisting that his plan is universal (a position she considers a crock), high-handedly criticizing Clinton’s plan (and by extension Edwards’s) for its insurance mandate.

There's a great part in the beginning about Elizabeth Edwards "hating her (Hillary's) guts."

So that's why Millboy won't endorse either one. The Edwards' hate both Barry and Hillary.

Obama Endorsed By Casey

St. Barack was endorsed this morning by the anti-abortion, pro-gun Senator from Pennsylvania, Bob Casey Jr:

Casey, the son of a popular late governor, had said earlier this month he would not endorse before the Pennsylvania primary out of concern for party unity. But he joined Obama at a boisterous rally kicking off a six-day bus trip through the state, where current Gov. Ed Rendell has been campaigning hard for Clinton.

Coming so late in the campaign season, Pennsylvania will play an unexpectedly key role this year. The state's primary will allocate 158 delegates, the biggest prize left in the drawn-out nomination battle.

After the Pittsburgh rally, Casey said of Obama: "I believe in this guy like I've never believed in a candidate in my life, except my father."

Then they both jumped on the bus and Casey was hazed by being forced to eat a baby.

Clinton, Inc. Kinda Douchebags To Mexico Bill

Even though the Clintons let Bill Richardson crash their casa for the Superbowl and eat all the chips and dip his chubby hands could hold, Mexico Bill endorsed St. Barack of Obama.

Now he's firing back at some criticism he received from Sen. Thundercunt's campaign:

Bill Richardson criticized a Clinton campaign adviser Friday for suggesting his endorsement of Barack Obama is insignificant.

"I resent the fact that the Clinton people are now saying that my endorsement is too late because I only can help with Texans — with Texas and Hispanics, implying that that's my only value," the New Mexico governor told CNN's John King.

"That's typical of some of his advisers that kind of turned me off."Earlier Friday, Clinton campaign senior strategist Mark Penn said he thought Richardson's endorsement came too late to make an impact.

“The time that he could have been effective has long since passed," Penn told reporters on a conference call. "I don’t think it is a significant endorsement in this environment.”

It's no secret that Mark Penn is a giant dickhole. But even that statement kinda set me back.

Mexico Bill also spoke of the dreaded phone call he made to the Clintons letting them know he was dumping them and then asked for his class ring back:

"It was painful and it wasn't easy," he said. "I've spoken to others who have had that same conversation and they say at the end, it’s not all that pleasant.

"The former Democratic presidential candidate declined to elaborate further on his conversation with Clinton.Last month, Chris Dodd — another former presidential candidate who decided to endorse Obama last month — said he had a "not comfortable" conversation with Clinton informing her of the news.

...Richardson, who held posts as the Secretary of Energy and the U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. in President Clinton’s administration, also said he "owes a lot to the Clinton family but I served well. I paid it back in service to the country."

Then this from the NY Times:

I talked to Senator Clinton last night,” Gov. Bill Richardson of New Mexico said on Friday, describing the tense telephone call in which he informed Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton that, despite two months of personal entreaties by her and her husband, he would be endorsing Senator Barack Obama for president.

“Let me tell you: we’ve had better conversations,” Mr. Richardson said.

...Mr. Clinton helped elevate Mr. Richardson to the national stage by naming him his energy secretary and ambassador to the United Nations. And Mr. Clinton left no doubt that he viewed Mr. Richardson’s support as important to his wife’s campaign: He even flew to New Mexico to watch the Super Bowl with Mr. Richardson as part of the Clintons’ high-profile courtship of him.

But Mr. Richardson stopped returning Mr. Clinton’s calls days ago, Mr. Clinton’s aides said. And as of Friday, Mr. Richardson said, he had yet to pick up the phone to tell Mr. Clinton of his decision.

The topper is the reaction of longtime Clinton body hiding gremlin, James Carville:

The reaction of some of Mr. Clinton’s allies suggests that might have been a wise decision. “An act of betrayal,” said James Carville, an adviser to Mrs. Clinton and a friend of Mr. Clinton.

“Mr. Richardson’s endorsement came right around the anniversary of the day when Judas sold out for 30 pieces of silver, so I think the timing is appropriate, if ironic,” Mr. Carville said, referring to Holy Week.

Then Carville scurried back to his cave to feed on the bodies of dead hobos.

"It is now time for a new generation of leadership"

"There is no doubt in my mind that Barack Obama has the judgment and courage we need in a commander in chief when our nation's security is on the line," Richardson said. "He showed this judgment by opposing the Iraq war from the start, and he has shown it during this campaign by standing up for a new era in American leadership internationally."

Obama embraced the endorsement of an accomplished figure on the world stage who "understands the importance of restoring diplomacy as a central part of our national security strategy."

Both men have proposed negotiating with enemies as well as friends, while Clinton has emphasized the need to press for changes in repressive or hostile regimes before engaging with them at the presidential level.

But there were also personal aspects to Richardson's swing behind Obama. He noted that both are the sons of one foreign-born parent _ Obama's father was from Kenya, Richardson's mother was from Mexico.

And Richardson told of the time, during one of the many Democratic debates, when his attention wandered and he didn't hear the question that came at him. Obama, then his rival, bailed him out by whispering to him that it was about Hurricane Katrina.

"He could have thrown me under the bus," Richardson cracked, "but he stood behind me."






The predictable Clintonian response:

Former Democratic presidential candidate and New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson finally made up his mind and endorsed Sen. Barack Obama today, but a senior advisor to Sen. Hillary Clinton's campaign--which likewise spent months courting the governor's nod--dismissed its significance.

"Look, I think that everyone has their endorsers," said senior Clinton strategist Mark Penn, adding-with a little huff-"I think New Mexico is a state that actually, we won."

"The time that he could have been effective has long since passed," he continued, "I don't think it is a significant endorsement in this environment."

Mexico Bill To Endorse Obama

Even though Bill Richardson and Bill Clinton are Superbowl buddies, Mexico Bill will join his sweaty hand with Sen. Unicorn's in holy endorsement matrimony:

New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, the nation's only Hispanic governor, is endorsing Sen. Barack Obama for president, calling him a "once-in-a-lifetime leader" who can unite the nation and restore America's international leadership.

..."I believe he is the kind of once-in-a-lifetime leader that can bring our nation together and restore America's moral leadership in the world," Richardson said in a statement obtained by the AP. "As a presidential candidate, I know full well Sen. Obama's unique moral ability to inspire the American people to confront our urgent challenges at home and abroad in a spirit of bipartisanship and reconciliation."

Richardson's endorsement also could help Obama pick up support among Hispanics, who are the nation's largest and fastest-growing minority.

No doubt Bill wants that veep slot, which is totally cool by me.

Imagine block parties/cookouts on the National Mall on Fridays followed by mariachi parties on the White House lawn on Sundays.

Mexico Bill Wasn't Deported!!!

Former democratic presidential candidate Bill Richardson (seen above at a Superbowl party boring the shit out of Bill Clinton with oldie but goodie maricón jokes) has spoken out concerning tomorrow's primaries:

“Whoever has the most delegates after Tuesday — a clear lead — should be, in my judgment, the nominee.”



Okay. I still can't stop snickering at the photo at the top. Richardson looks like a poor kid who went to his rich friend's house, finally getting to play Halo for the first time. Kinda sad :(

Dodd Endorses Obama

Some old man claiming to have run for president as well has just endorsed Barry Hussein:

A former adviser for Dodd said the timing of the Connecticut senator's endorsement "works pretty well" given that foreign policy has become a key issue of the campaign.

"With Clinton on the attack, a recognized leader on foreign and military affairs is vouching for Obama's readiness," the Dodd adviser told CNN.

Grumpy Old Men

Yesterday, the elderly Juan McCain was endorsed by his future nursing home roommate George H W Bush, with life partner Mr. Barbara Bush at his side.

The press event went well until the former president spewed metamucil on WALNUTS!, causing all three to slip and break their hips.

Huggin' It Out

Barry Hussein and Millboy finally had their dinner date. Barry had gotten cold feet but it seems like he finally picked out the perfect outfit, spritzed on his best cologne, and went down to meet Edwards at this 28,200-square-foot bathhouse mansion:

Officials at North Carolina television station WTVD said they have video taken from a helicopter of Obama leaving Edwards' home in Chapel Hill. A producer said the station was "tipped off" about the meeting, but said the source was confidential.

The Obama campaign confirmed the meeting. Although reporters normally travel everywhere with Obama, he left them behind to fly down in secret from his hometown.

"Senator Obama visited this morning with John and Elizabeth Edwards at their home in Chapel Hill to discuss the state of the campaign and the pressing issues facing American families," said Obama spokesman Bill Burton. He wouldn't comment on the possibility of an endorsement.
