Edwardses Will Not Endorse

Famous son-of-a-mill John Edwards and his beard wife Elizabeth will not endorse anyone for anything ever.

However, they did open up to respected news Goliath People Magazine about their likes, dislikes, and fave boy bands.

Elizabeth likes Hillary's healthcare plan because her cancers told her to, but does not like Thundercunt because what little money the hobo does bring in comes from lobbyists.

Mrs. Edwards likes St. Barack because young people like him, but does not like the fact that he is black or something like that:

In their first joint interview since John, the Democratic former senator and 2004 vice presidential nominee, dropped out of the race in January, the couple named what they liked and disliked about each of the remaining Democrats – and Mrs. Edwards didn't hesitate: "I like Hillary's health care plan."

What doesn't she like about the senator from New York and former first lady? "The lobbyist money," she adds.

On Obama, she says: "The fact that he has motivated so many young people to be involved, I think is fantastic."

But, she adds: "I don't like his health care plan or his advertising on health care, which I think is misleading."

As for Millboy, he likes Hillary for her tenacity. He likes Obama because he is black and therefore probably hung:

On Clinton: "I like something different about Hillary. I think her tenacity shows a real strength that's inside her."

What doesn't he like about Clinton? "Um, still a lot of the old politics," John Edwards said.

As for Obama, he says: "Sometimes I want to see more substance under the rhetoric."

But he cited two things he likes about the charismatic young senator from Illinois: "One is, I think he really does want to bring about serious change and a different way of doing things. And secondly, I think it's a great symbolic thing to have an African-American who could be president."

Why Millboy Won't Endorse

Besides the fact the he's busy brushing his pretty hair or blowing dudes.

But now two months have passed since Edwards dropped out—tempus fugit!—and still no endorsement. Why? According to a Democratic strategist unaligned with any campaign but with knowledge of the situation gleaned from all three camps, the answer is simple: Obama blew it. Speaking to Edwards on the day he exited the race, Obama came across as glib and aloof. His response to Edwards’s imprecations that he make poverty a central part of his agenda was shallow, perfunctory, pat. Clinton, by contrast, engaged Edwards in a lengthy policy discussion. Her affect was solicitous and respectful. When Clinton met Edwards face-to-face in North Carolina ten days later, her approach continued to impress; she even made headway with Elizabeth. Whereas in his Edwards sit-down, Obama dug himself in deeper, getting into a fight with Elizabeth about health care, insisting that his plan is universal (a position she considers a crock), high-handedly criticizing Clinton’s plan (and by extension Edwards’s) for its insurance mandate.

There's a great part in the beginning about Elizabeth Edwards "hating her (Hillary's) guts."

So that's why Millboy won't endorse either one. The Edwards' hate both Barry and Hillary.

Puppy Found. Edwards Still Missing.

A puppy feared missing after the tornado ripped through the Fulton Cotton Mill lofts has been found:

P.J. Bullock barely survived Friday night's tornado. He feared his dog, Jackson, wasn't so lucky.

Sunday afternoon, he and a friend returned to the Cotton Mill Lofts in Cabbagetown to look one last time for his 3-month-old mixed breed German shepherd. He was able to persuade a firefighter to check the apartment where the puppy was last seen.

They found him underneath a couch," said Bullock, who was having dinner in a top-floor loft on the Boulevard side of Building E when the tornado struck

The dog apparently had scampered underneath the furniture just as one of the apartment's walls was collapsing. That's where he was discovered Sunday, safely ensconced amid the rubble.

"Jackson was OK ... completely healthy," said Bullock, who likewise escaped the storm "without a scratch."


No thanks to John Edwards.

Huggin' It Out

Barry Hussein and Millboy finally had their dinner date. Barry had gotten cold feet but it seems like he finally picked out the perfect outfit, spritzed on his best cologne, and went down to meet Edwards at this 28,200-square-foot bathhouse mansion:

Officials at North Carolina television station WTVD said they have video taken from a helicopter of Obama leaving Edwards' home in Chapel Hill. A producer said the station was "tipped off" about the meeting, but said the source was confidential.

The Obama campaign confirmed the meeting. Although reporters normally travel everywhere with Obama, he left them behind to fly down in secret from his hometown.

"Senator Obama visited this morning with John and Elizabeth Edwards at their home in Chapel Hill to discuss the state of the campaign and the pressing issues facing American families," said Obama spokesman Bill Burton. He wouldn't comment on the possibility of an endorsement.

Barry A No Show At Millboy Manor

John "also ran" Edwards, had a meeting with Hillary last Thursday at Edwards' mansion in NC. From CNN:

The Thursday meeting, which took place at Edwards' home in Chapel Hill, was followed by a Saturday night session during which the former North Carolina senator and several longtime advisers discussed many issues, including which candidate he should endorse. [...]

At a Chapel Hill party yesterday for Edwards supporters, he gave no indication who he might endorse, or whether that endorsement is imminent. Some advisers are encouraging him not to endorse.

The former candidate is weighing a number of considerations before making his choice - including electability, and who will best promote his ideas.

There are policy considerations at play: there is a sense within the Edwards camp that Clinton's policies could be better for working class Americans. But Obama's anti-lobbyist proposals are more aligned with Edwards' politics.

In response to a CNN report that Elizabeth Edwards may favor Obama over Clinton, sources close to the Edwards family flatly deny that she favors one candidate over the other.

Obama was supposed to meet with the milltard yesterday, but then cancelled:

It is unclear which party ultimately pulled the plug on tonight's meeting between Obama and Edwards and no cause was given for the abrupt rescheduling, but sources have indicated that the Obama campaign and Edwards wished that the meeting would be done in private without massive media attention.

My guess is that Edwards will endorse the first person that promises to make him Secretary of Mills.
