Greatest Thing We Missed Yesterday
Gold:
Rep. Frank R. Wolf's campaign is apologizing this morning for the actions of a congressional staffer, who apparently struck a campaign worker for opponent Judy Feder after a candidate's forum in Winchester Friday. The incident was caught on tape and posted on the blog www.raisingkaine.com last night by Feder's paid blogger, Lowell Feld.
According to both camps, the two Feder staffers, one carrying a video camera, approached Wolf and peppered him with questions. Dan Scandling, Wolf's campaign spokesman, said the two workers had been "circling" Wolf, his wife Carolyn and congressional staffer Ben Dutton, and asking aggressive questions in an attempt to provoke an angry response.
...At one point in the video, as Kent asks Wolf a question, the camera abruptly shakes and the videographer shouts, "Sir, please don't!" This is the moment at which both camps say Dutton struck Kent. Though you can't see it, both camps say it was with a cane.

John McCain Will Give America Some Kind Of Elderly AIDS
Hey, did you know that WALNUTS! is like 100 million years old?
Brave New Pac and Democracy for America released this ad, pointing out that John McCain is older than all previous presidents......combined and has had every type of cancers ever since he was 12:
Brave New Pac and Democracy for America, a group the Times points out today is lead by Howard Dean's brother, are up with a spot questioning John McCain's health and demanding he release his medical records.
Though it's a tiny ad buy on MSNBC, the images are striking, and readers have reported seeing it this morning.
McCain did, in fact, allow reporters to look over more than a thousand pages of his health records, though he hasn't released them more broadly.
Republican National Committee spokesman Alex Conant responds:
“Barack Obama’s liberal allies are launching a partisan attack at the precise moment we should be putting politics aside and working to solve the problem. These sorts of false attacks by special interest groups are part of what’s wrong with Washington.”

FWB / Panama Shitty Blue Hair Battle

Today's NWF Daily News and Panama Shitty Herald battle it out to see who can write the sappiest piece on people who are way old.
First up, Panama Shitty scares the shit out of me as they follow their 100 yo dinosaur on a car ride:
Not to be outdone, NWF Daily News interviews a former Air Force commander:
Throughout his 35-year Air Force career, he has been commander of Hickam and Eglin Air Force bases, as well as Payne Field, which is now Cairo International Airport.
He also flew more than 60 kinds of aircraft.
Now, he enjoys playing the stock market. “I find it a very interesting game — not that I do so well on it, but it is interesting.”
No wonder he isn't doing so well. Turns out the poor guy wasn't even on E*Trade, but 2girls1cup.

9udy Headed to FL to Scare the Elderly

9udy 11uliani hasn't placed higher than 4th so far. But that's his plan. He has a "firewall" if you will. This "firewall" is Florida.
I guess he decided that the best group of people to scare into submission would be blue hairs, who already think the black orderly at their nursing home is stealing their medecine and mother of pearl necklaces.
