Dem RBC Meeting Happening Now

What an awesome Saturday. The Democratic Rules and Bylaws Committee is meeting to decide what to do with their bastard Michigan and Florida babies.

Obama would like to abort both, because he is a godless liberal elitist.

Hillary would like to adopt both into her hardworking non-bitter home.

Either way, this is gonna take a real long time. It's already been an excruciating day of passive-aggressive jokes and stupid stories no one wants to hear. Plus, we haven't even gotten around to cashing in Hillary's frequent flier miles, tin cans, and collection of state quarters.

Anywho, as usual, Ben Smith brings the best moment so far:

Donna Brazile -- the only RBC member who gets an ovation whenever she speaks -- says to Jim Blanchard, "you mentioned your momma." (Blanchard had mentioned it was his mother's birthday.)

“My momma always told me to play by the rules,” she says. And if you try to change the rules in the middle of the game, "it's cheating."

Brazile's nominally uncommitted, but it's pretty clear what her sentiments lie.

"Hillary Clinton played by the rules," responds Blanchard.

Florida Electoral Process = BEST EVER

Former Okaloosa County Commissioner Doug Hutcheson has pre-filed to run for supervisor of elections in Okaloosa County. Funny thing: He was arrested September 28, 2001 for wilfully submitting false voter registration information.

Hahahahaha.....oh wait. That's not funny:

Five years after he faced costly punishments for a batch of election law violations, former Okaloosa County Commissioner Doug Hutcheson has pre-filed to run for supervisor of elections.

“I recognize where some people might see it as ironic,” Hutcheson said Saturday of his decision to run. “I also see it where I have a certain amount of experience in the field.”

Hutcheson, 50, was fined more than $21,000 in 2002 by the Florida Elections Commission for 16 voter registration and election campaign violations. FEC officials said he submitted false voter registration information three times at three different addresses.

He was indicted and arrested in 2001 after Supervisor of Elections Pat Hollarn raised questions over whether he actually lived at his registered address in northwest Okaloosa. He was convicted of a misdemeanor in 2002 and sentenced to 18 months probation.

“What I’ve been through is behind me,” Hutcheson said.

...“People have lost confidence in the voting system and they’ve lost confidence that their vote counts,” said Hutcheson. “The office has been politicized.”

Hey, if you say it's old news, then that's good enough for Florida. Given their impeccable electoral track record, the guy can't do that much damage.

Like We Didn't Know This Would Happen

Tomorrow, Texas will hold their primary. Texas happens to be one of those states where registered voters of either party can cross lines and vote in the opposing party's primary.

Republicans don't want Barry to win the Dem nomination. They obviously want Thundercunt to win, given the greater chance of defeat by Juan McCain in the general election.

Let Ametuer Pharmacologist Rush Limbaugh elaborate:

"I want Hillary to stay in this…this is too good a soap opera," Limbaugh told fellow conservative talk-show host Laura Ingraham on Fox News Friday. He reiterated the comments on his Monday show and replayed the exchange with Ingram.

..."We need Barack Obama bloodied up politically. It's obvious that the Republicans are not going to do it, they don't have the stomach for it," Limbaugh continued. "As you probably know we're getting all kinds of memos from the RNC saying we're not going to be critical. Mark McKinnon of McCain's campaign said he'll quit if they get critical over Obama. This is the presidency of the United States we're talking about. I want our party to win I want the Democrats to lose.”

..."Wouldn't you love to cream Hillary though…why are you so afraid of her? Look at how ineptly she has campaigned against Obama," Limbaugh responded to one listener who said she wanted to see Clinton out of the race immediately.

"I'm asking people to cross over, and if they can stomach it and I know it's a difficult thing to do, vote for Clinton," he also told Ingraham Friday. "But it will sustain this soap opera, and it's something I think we need and it'll be fun, too."

The American electoral process is sooooooo fucked.
