CNN Says Barack Obama Is A Big Dumb Dumb Dummy Monster Tard

Pretty much.

CNN is concerned that President Unicorn isn't reading enough:

It appears President Obama has to step up his reading pace if he wants to beat his predecessor in one particular measure: how many books a president can polish off a year.

In an interview with the BBC Tuesday, Obama said he is currently reading Joseph O'Neill's 270-page novel "Netherland," a book Obama first said he began back in April.

If Obama is close to finishing the novel, that puts him on less than a 10 book-a-year pace, far less than the close to 100 books President Bush was reportedly able to finish in the same amount of time.

According to former top Bush aide Karl Rove, he and the former president engaged in a friendly wager every year to see who could read more books.

In 2006, Bush read 95 books to Roves 110: a Herculean pace of nearly two books a week — in an election year to boot — for the ex-president. But, according to Rove, Bush's reading slowed a bit in the final years of his presidency, finishing a not-too-shabby 51 books in 2007 and at least 40 in 2008.

And if that's not impressive enough, Rove also said Bush found time to read the Bible "from cover to cover" every year.

Never mind that we will all be hobos in about 3 weeks and that crazy Chinaman who wears platform shoes has missles and stuff.

Michelle Malkin Is Losing It

This time, the celestial succubus is picking apart the new Indy movie for it's liberal elitist message.

From Michelle Malkin:

So the men are similar, yes. But as shown by the horrific judgment that follows—manifested through the faux-priesthood of Belloq who opens the Ark—they are not equivalent. Jones realizes at the last minute that he is participating in a desecration, not a scientific exploration, and wills himself (and Marion) to look away.

Meanwhile Belloq, remember, does more than just crowbar the top off the Ark. All duded up in Old Testament priestly vestments, he overrides the (well-placed, in retrospect) objections of head Nazi Dietrich to a Jewish ritual and stares down directly into the depths (…the abyss looks back…) of the opened Ark. Remember earlier that Belloq had described the Ark as a “transmitter” for talking to God. He wants to look upon God’s face, which is something he (and Indy) know is forbidden.

…your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods…(Gen. 3:5)

And because of his hubris, he becomes literally the transmitter of God’s wrath into the ranks of Nazis.

Among many implausibilities and plot holes in Raiders (Matus notes Indy’s transoceanic submarine rodeo) it’s easy to overlook the odd fact that Indy knows, instinctively, something the Nazis don’t: not to look on the spirits that come out of the Ark. He realized this with enough certainty to warn Marian about it. But this isn’t a continuity error–it’s the critical realization of the film.

How did he know to do that? It’s not part of the Ark lore. And it’s not even necessary to the plot. The movie would have made sense without that line, had the Ark merely autoclaved Belloq and the Nazis and spared Indy and Marion because of their innate goodness.

Yes They Are

Just in case you were wondering if the Chinese were hacking the Pentagon:

"First, you must know about the Web site you want to attack. You must know what program it is written with," says Xiao Chen. "There is a saying, 'Know about both yourself and the enemy, and you will be invincible.'"

CNN decided to withhold the address of these hackers' Web site, but Xiao Chen says it has been operating for more than three years, with 10,000 registered users. The site offers tools, articles, news and flash tutorials about hacking.

...But eventually Xiao Chen claims two of his colleagues -- not the ones with him in the room -- have hacked into the Pentagon and downloaded information, although he wouldn't specify what was gleaned. CNN has no way to confirm if his claim is true.

...But if Xiao Chen is telling the truth, it appears his colleagues launched a freelance attack -- not initiated by Beijing, but paid for after the fact. "These hacker groups in my opinion are not agents of the Chinese state," says James Mulvenon from the Center for Intelligence Research and Analysis, which works with the U.S. intelligence community.

"They are sort of useful idiots for the Beijing regime."

Now that that it looks like L. Ron Paultard will be dropping out of the presidential race, maybe we could employ our own useful idiots, Paultards, and reciprocate some lead-based hacking right back at the Chinese.

Note to Margaret Cho: STFU

Photobucket

In a long standing HuffPo tradition of allowing totally unqualified douchebags write blogs for their site, I give you teh gayz favorite Celestial:

I am bi-candidate. I like Hillary and Obama. I like Obama and Hillary. I think it is wonderful that we have not just one, but two great candidates to choose from. It is an embarrassment of riches really. Not just one amazing politician. But two! We have the incredibly exciting Barack Obama, who represents hope and change and who can get a whole generation of disillusioned voters excited about politics again, which I think I is a miracle in itself. Then we have the amazing Hillary Clinton, who has already proved herself to be a great leader, who can and will clean up after the Bush administration just like she did the last time she was president.

I just threw up a little in my mouth.
